Surplus lines policies through the non-admitted market are not subject to the full regulatory oversight of the state departments on insurance as admitted policies and are not protected by any State Guaranty Funds or Insolvency Association. In the event of insurer insolvency, losses will not be paid by a state guaranty fund.

All policies are procured by Cushion Insurance Agency, LLC (Resident CA Surplus Lines License #6019626 and non-resident surplus lines broker licenses across operational states. View full Licenses & Disclosures. All policies are underwritten on a non-admitted basis by surplus lines insurance carriers and are subject to surplus lines taxes and stamping fees. Program administration and delegated underwriting management are executed by Cushion Insurance Agency, LLC.
